Below are a few examples of the kinds of projects I’ve done and visual sensibilities I tend to lean towards as a visual artist. I work closely with clients to ensure their vision comes to life in the way they feel speaks best about their own work and business. Collaboraton is one of my favorite parts of the design process.
These are a few examples of the wide variety of logos designed as visual solutions for each individual company's needs. I have many years of experience designing brand imagery for both small and large businesses, and work hard to achieve a look and feel that matches each client's vision.
These drawings are done first with pen and paper, then scanned into the computer and colored in. It's a technique that works well for both print and multi-media publications, and now I often use the same method to finish my drafting and map drawings.
EarthBound Tea Canister Labels: I created a series of labels for EarthBound Apothecary’s line of herbal teas. Using the logo I designed for them as a starting point for the horizontal layouts, the challenge here was to give a distinct personality to each tea formula while at the same time keeping the branding consistent.
FALCANNA PRODUCT LABEL: I created this 3.5 x 4" label for Falcanna's new Cannabis blend named for the famous Hemp activist "Jack Herer". It illustrates Jack's imaginary hike on the "Hippie Trail". This is a photo illustration using parts of photos I collected, pieced together and altered in Photoshop. This project required use of my drawing and artistic abilities as well as advanced Photoshop skills to bring it all together into a cohesive final image.
These architectural renderings were done for a local builder and his wife who is a real estate agent selling these homes on MLS. Prior to completing the build, they needed renderings to show potential buyers what each home will look like when complete.
Working for a custom furniture and design company, I produced drawings for various custom projects for their private and corporate clients. These included cabinetry, shelving, furniture, finishing options and choices for visual reference for these designs. Understanding interior elevation drawings, architectural plans and design specs, was part of the job. These drawings shown here are a sampling of the kinds of renderings I did for this company.
